Please note: referral for tutoring is made only for those subjects in which tutoring is offered by the Student Learning Center (SLC). Classes available for tutoring can be found in the SLC brochure or at the SLC website.
When individual tutoring is offered for a course by SLC, DSP/TRIO students apply as would any other student on campus.
The SLC provides individual tutoring for College Writing and R 1A and 1B classes. However, while you wait for a placement with an individual tutor, sign up for By-Appointment-Tutoring.
DSP/TRIO students may be referred for writing tutoring regardless of discipline, as writing tutoring focuses on the writing process, not discipline-specific knowledge.
